Annotation involves adding notes/ explanations to ideas/ experimentation or creations in art. WHY DO WE ANNOTATE? The purpose of annotating designs in your folio of work is to demonstrate your understanding of a variety of artworks, visual arts language and the relevance of anything you select to put into your folio, to the development of your own work.
